SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
What is SEO?
SEO (search engine optimization) is the process of improving a website so it ranks higher in Google, Bing, and AI-powered search results for the terms your customers actually search. It combines technical work (site speed, mobile-friendliness, structured data), content that answers real customer questions, and building your site’s authority through citations, reviews, and backlinks. Done well, it’s the marketing channel with the best long-term return because you’re not paying per click for traffic that keeps coming.
Can I do my own website SEO?
Yes — the fundamentals (writing clear page titles, adding your business to Google Business Profile, publishing helpful content) are things any business owner can learn. Where DIY SEO usually breaks down is technical SEO (site speed, schema markup, crawl errors) and the ongoing time commitment — most owners we talk to start it themselves, then bring in help once it competes with running the actual business.
Can you help me improve my website’s search engine rankings?
Yes. We start every engagement with a full technical and content audit, then build a plan around the specific keywords your customers use and the gaps your current site has versus competitors ranking above you. You’ll see the plan and the reasoning behind it before we start any work.
How long does it take to see results from SEO?
Most clients start seeing measurable movement — more impressions, better rankings for easier keywords — within 60–90 days. Meaningful lead volume from competitive terms typically takes 4–6 months, since Google needs time to trust a site’s improvements. Anyone promising overnight first-page rankings for competitive terms isn’t being straight with you.
How much does SEO cost?
Our SEO packages start at $150/month and scale based on your market’s competition level and how much content and technical work is needed. We quote after a free audit of your specific site rather than a flat rate for everyone, since a law firm in a competitive suburb and a local plumber need very different amounts of work.
Do I maintain ownership of business listing citations?
Yes. Every citation, listing, and profile we create or claim on your behalf (Google Business Profile, Yelp, industry directories, etc.) is registered under your business’s ownership and credentials, not ours. If you ever leave us, you keep full control and access.
Website Design
How much do you charge for a website?
Our custom WordPress websites start at $200 depending on the number of pages, e-commerce needs, and custom design work involved. We’ll give you a firm quote after a short call about what you need the site to do.
Will I own my website and all of the content you post?
Yes, completely. You own the domain, the hosting account (or access to it), the design files, and every piece of content we write or publish. We don’t hold your site hostage as leverage to keep you as a client — a lot of agencies do, and it’s a fair question to ask any company you’re evaluating.
Can you fix my broken website?
Usually, yes. Whether it’s a hacked WordPress install, broken plugins, a bad migration, or a site that’s simply stopped working, our development team can diagnose the issue and typically has a fix in place within 24–48 hours depending on severity. Send us the URL and a description of what’s happening and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a quick fix or a bigger rebuild.
PPC (Pay-Per-Click Advertising)
What is PPC advertising, and how can it benefit my business?
PPC (pay-per-click) is advertising on platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Bing Ads, or Facebook where you pay only when someone clicks your ad. Unlike SEO, it can start driving traffic the same day you launch, which makes it useful for testing a new offer, filling a slow season, or generating leads while your organic rankings build up in the background.
How do you create effective PPC ads?
We start with keyword and competitor research to find search terms with real buying intent, then write ad copy and landing pages that match what the searcher actually wants — mismatched ads and landing pages are the single biggest reason PPC campaigns waste money. From there we monitor performance weekly and adjust bids, keywords, and ad copy based on what’s actually converting.
How much does PPC advertising cost?
Two separate costs are involved: your ad spend (paid directly to Google, Bing, or Facebook, and entirely under your control) and our management fee, which starts at $250/month. We’ll recommend an ad budget based on your industry and goals, but you set the ceiling — we never spend beyond what you approve.
Do you guarantee your internet marketing services?
No legitimate agency can guarantee a specific search ranking — that’s controlled by Google’s algorithm, not by us. What we do guarantee is our process: transparent monthly reporting, white-hat tactics only, and no long-term contracts, so you can judge us on actual results rather than a promise. Any company offering a guaranteed #1 ranking is a red flag worth walking away from.
How soon can I expect to see results?
PPC campaigns can generate leads within days of launch. SEO and content-driven growth take longer — typically 60–90 days for early movement and 4–6 months for significant results — because organic rankings depend on Google trusting the changes over time, not just implementing them.
Social Media
Can you help me with social media marketing?
Yes. We manage business accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and X, handling everything from content calendars and posting to community management and paid social campaigns. The right platform mix depends on your industry — a B2B contractor and a retail boutique need very different social strategies.
General / Getting Started
What is internet marketing, and how can it benefit my business?
Internet marketing (also called digital marketing) covers every way your business gets found and builds trust online — SEO, paid ads, social media, email, reputation management, and increasingly, visibility in AI tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews. For most small businesses, it benefits you by putting you in front of people actively searching for what you offer, rather than hoping they see a billboard or a flyer.
What types of internet marketing services do you offer?
We offer local SEO, technical SEO, AI search optimization (GEO/AEO), Google Ads and Microsoft Ads management, Facebook/Meta ads, social media management, custom WordPress website design, and reputation management. Most clients start with one or two services and add more as budget and results allow — we don’t require you to buy a bundle.
How do you determine which services are right for my business?
We start with a free consultation where we look at your current online presence, who your competitors are, and what your actual goals are — more calls, more foot traffic, more online sales. From there we recommend a starting point based on where the biggest gap is, not on what’s most profitable for us to sell.
How do you measure the success of internet marketing campaigns?
We track the metrics that actually tie to revenue — keyword rankings, organic traffic, phone calls, form submissions, and ad conversion rates — and report on them monthly in plain English, not a wall of jargon and graphs. You’ll always know what’s working, what isn’t, and why.
